Eugene McCrossan is Chief Operating Officer at London Metropolitan University and a member of the University Executive Board. He provides strategic leadership across the University’s professional services, supporting the delivery of its academic mission and long-term strategic ambitions. His portfolio includes people and organisational performance, financial sustainability, estates and facilities, digital transformation, planning and insight, risk management and business improvement.
Working closely with the Vice Chancellor, Executive Board Team and Board of Governors, Eugene leads major institutional initiatives that strengthen organisational resilience, improve services for students and staff, and ensure the University remains well positioned to respond to opportunities and challenges across the higher education sector.
With extensive experience in higher education leadership across a wide of institutions, Eugene has a strong track record of delivering operational excellence, leading complex transformation programmes and supporting sustainable growth. He is passionate about fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture, using innovation, data-informed decision making and continuous improvement to help London Met achieve its strategic objectives.
